The David & Stacy Lerner Foundation financially supports the efforts of those nonprofits that address the challenges of healthy human development and drive the realization of human potential.

Our approach to social change and individual growth is grounded by three beliefs.

• Individuals must have their basic human survival needs met prior to any realistic consideration of personal evolution and social advancement.
  

• Vision and experience are linked. People must be exposed to a myriad of opportunities so they can craft a vision for their own new reality.
  

• Individuals must come to understand the interconnected nature of our world. This knowledge will encourage honor and respect for others and ultimately create right and just action.
  

We appreciate working with nonprofits that are receptive to creating innovative and sustainable program-driven solutions.

Our efforts are intended to model a funding approach to other potential individual donors, how through dialogue, creativity, commitment and modest funds, many lives can be impacted and many new futures can be created.
